About You — Membership Application

Membership in Garden Club of Lighthouse Point is open to all, regardless of gender, age, race, ethnicity, or religious affiliation. The meetings are also open and free to the public.

Garden Club of Lighthouse Point was established in 1958 and became part of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc., in 1959. We are members of the National Garden Clubs, Inc., National Garden Clubs, Deep South Region, District XI, and Nature Conservancy.

Meetings are usually held from October through May. Please check the calendar for dates, times, and locations.

ANNUAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF ACTIVE MEMBERS
Active participation is expected from members. ALL members have TWO responsibilities each year as follows:

• ONE MONTHLY HOSPITALITY ASSIGNMENT:
Bring table-ready refreshments OR make an advance payment of $10 for the Hospitality Committee to purchase it for you.

• MAJOR PROJECTS:
Each year our major project is Annual Salad Lunch fundraiser. Member participation in this activity is essential for success.

We offer educational programs in floral design, horticulture, environmental and landscape design, hands-on workshops, field trips, and themed luncheons.

You may pay via check (follow instructions in both the hard application and the online application. If you wish to pay electronically, we accept Zelle.

Membership dues are $45.00 annually, plus a membership book fee of $10.00 the first year- ($55.00).

Come to a meeting and see what we are all about as our guest.  After your second meeting you will be invited to join us.
